Christmas can be summarized in 3 words “God with us” or “Gift of Grace” or” Gift of Love”
Isaiah Chapter 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. We tend to put our attention on human birth of Christ rather than His Deity who He really is “God with us..that is what Emmanuel means. It means that we are not isolated from a God who sits on a distant throne. He came to be with us in human form eating like us and wearing the clothes and so on,when Joseph and Mary called Him by his name literally living among us. The message of Christmas is that we are not alone but “God with us”
Luke Chapter 1:26,27 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin`s name was Mary. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary:for thou hast found favor with God. 31, And,behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son,and shalt call his name Jesus. 35.And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Gift of Grace Luke 1:50 And His mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation God Accepted Jesus`s perfect life as a fitting payment for all our sins. 77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. for each person who turns and seeks God`s truth, a new journey begins. These are our first steps on a continuing journey. We know that life includes troubles.continue to have struggles, but when we walk with Him we are never alone or forgotten. God helps guides, and gives us grace for life. Each of us in a relationship with him becomes a new person imperfect but forgiven and given hope each day.
Gift of love: We have been given this gift 2000 years ago. John 3:16″ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” So our relationship can be restored Jesus was the only one who could meet his demand for a perfect sacrifice. Only He was sinless.( Hebrew 9:11-15). He willingly gave himself on the cross. God accepted His sacrifice and raised him from the dead. This gift is truly free to everyoneand at all time.
The Savior has come bringing forgiveness and hope, and He is deserving of all the worship with Praise and Thanksgiving 1 Chronicle 16:8-15 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people. Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord. Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones. He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations
May we continue to fix our eyes on Christ this season
Glory to God in the Highest
Dear Lord, The world is getting more and more chaotic and all of us busy with so many things, help us not to miss You this Christmas season.Just like our precious Baby Jesus was born in the stable in Bethlehem in poverty and simplicity, Help us to simplify our lives and traditions so we can focus our celebration on Your birth.
Lord, we thank You for coming to earth so You could redeem us. Without You, we would still be lost and in sin.
When we think of the extent to which You were willing to go in order to save us, it makes us humble and so grateful for that Love.
As we imagine those surroundings, we join with the shepherds and the wise men in wonder and praise. We thank you for our material lives, praise you for our spiritual lives, and trust in you for our eternal life. Thank You for being the Prince of Peace, and we ask You for that supernatural peace to reign in our hearts.
But because of everything You have done for us, today we are free; Our life is blessed; Jesus is our Lord; Heaven is our home; and Satan cannot get hold of us, under your Grace.
May our life get filled up with lots of love, joy, happiness and peace only you can provide us
May that Star shine in our lives forever
May we all live in peace and harmony and follow you with all our mind ,body and soul.
May the whole world continue to get filled with the message of your love ,mercy and redeeming grace
May the heaven and earth declare your Glory for ever and ever. May the Christmas bring us with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. May we share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds and the worship of the wise men.
Thank you Lord for gifting us all, this beautiful Christmas day to celebrate it every year and learn the art of love and compassion, and the glimmering lights which reminds us that you are the light of the world. Thank you for renewing our faith in this season and love and compassion for others. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. We Thank you for our family, friends the neighbors, people with whom we will spend this day. We remember our loved ones who are not here Lord Jesus, Wise men traveled for miles to bring you the first Christmas presents. So may we, too, remember with thankful hearts the love that comes with each present we open. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. We also thank you for the amazing love you have for each of us, God of all gifts, we thank you for the many ways you have blessed us this day. We are grateful each of those who are gathered around this table. We ask you to bless us and our food and to bless those we love who are not with us today. In our gratitude and love, we remember your humble birth into our lives and pray for those who are without enough to eat. We remember the stable in which you were born and pray for those who have no place to live. . We praise you and give you thanks and glorify you who brings our hearts to life the Christmas Day and forever. Amen.
The Christmas Creed
I believe in Jesus Christ and in the beauty of the gospel begun in Bethlehem.
I believe in the one whose spirit glorified a little town; and whose spirit still brings music to persons all over the world, in towns both large and small.
I believe in the one for whom the crowded inn could find no room, and I confess that my heart still sometimes wants to exclude Christ from my life today.
I believe in the one who the rulers of the earth ignored and the proud could never understand; whose life was among common people, whose welcome came from persons of hungry hearts.
I believe in the one who proclaimed the love of God to be invincible:
I believe in the one whose cradle was a mother’s arms, whose modest home in Nazareth had love for its only wealth, who looked at persons and made them see what God’s love saw in them, who by love brought sinners back to purity, and lifted human weakness up to meet the strength of God.
I confess my ever-lasting need of God: The need of forgiveness for our selfishness and greed, the need of new life for empty souls, the need of love for hearts grown cold.
I believe in God who gives us the best of himself. I believe in Jesus, the son of the living God, born in Bethlehem this night, for me and for the world.
